COLD START PILOT KIT
These are easy to fit, no-maintenance cold starting devices that make possible to start Diesel engines up to 300BHP in ambient temperature as low as -10 Celsius. The key of the device is the Starting Fluid, stored in the reservoir, which is pressurized by a hand pump to inject the fluid into the engine. The air mixes with the fluid in the reservoir via a metering jet. The resulting fuel/ air blend is piped to spray nozzle, where it is atomized into fine vapor and sprayed into the air inlet while the engine is cranked.
Specification : The Starting fluid is introduced directly into the manifold inlet through precision equipment i.e. Cold Start Pilot Kit.

The Cold Start Pilot kit contains a reservoir tank, a pump, an injector and a connecting pipe. Once mounted, the kit can remain in place for future use. To start, the STARTING FLUID is introduced directly into the manifold inlet through precision equipment i.e. Cold Start Pilot Kit, ensuring proper distribution of the Starting Fluid in order to promote a smooth and progressive combustion cycle in the cylinders. All that is now required is to:
(a) fill up the Starting Fluid up to the MAX Level marked in the Reservoir tank of the Pilot Kit.
(b) Activate simultaneously the Hand pump of the Pilot Kit, as well as the starter itself of the Diesel Engine. A simple, one-second spray into the air inlet manifold will be enough for an immediate start of any type of Diesel Engine 2, 4 or 6 strokes, whilst reducing the strain on the battery and starter motor of the engine.
